Job Description *
About your role:
As an Advisor, Agile Coach at Fiserv, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of agility across teams and departments. You will work closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leadership to embed Agile principles, elevate team performance, and drive continuous improvement. Your mission is to build high-performing, self-organizing teams and scale Agile practices across the organization.
What you will do:
Agile Leadership & Coaching
· Champion Agile values and principles across teams and leadership.
· Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Delivery Teams on Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
· Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build Agile capabilities.
· Mentor teams through Agile maturity stages, tailoring coaching to team needs.
Team Enablement & Flow Optimization
· Guide teams in establishing and maintaining a sustainable flow of work.
· Support backlog refinement and prioritization with Product Owners.
· Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure they deliver value.
· Promote testability, clarity, and completeness in requirements.
Impediment Removal & Continuous Improvement
· Proactively identify and remove organizational and team-level impediments.
· Foster a safe environment for experimentation and learning.
· Encourage retrospectives and drive actionable outcomes.
Agile Culture & Mindset
· Promote psychological safety and servant leadership.
· Advocate for Agile values in decision-making and team dynamics.
· Connect Agile practices to business outcomes and customer value.
Metrics & Accountability
· Establish and track Agile metrics to measure team performance and delivery.
· Provide insights to leadership on Agile adoption and team health.
· Support roadmap development and release planning.
What you will need to have:
· 10+ years of experience in Agile environments, including 3+ years as an agile coach/Senior Scrum master
· Proven experience coaching multiple Agile teams and stakeholders.
· Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP) or equivalent.
· Proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Clarity).
· Strong understanding of Agile engineering practices (TDD, BDD, CI/CD).
· Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
· Experience working with distributed teams and varying Agile maturity levels.
What would be great to have:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
· Certification in Agile at Scale (SAFe, LeSS, Spotify, DAD).
· Experience in large-scale Agile transformations and multi-team programs.
