Amentum is seeking a Data Architect to support our federal program in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions to complex data sets
- Lead the development of data architectures, strategies and solutions recommendations in support of business strategies
- Lead design of high-level conceptual and logical models that facilitate a cross-system/cross-functional view of data requirements
- Establish processes for governing the identification, collection and use of corporate metdata and take steps to assure data accuracy, validity and quality
- Design and build relational and non-relational databases
- Translate business needs into long term architectural solutions
Requirements
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Overall 8 years of professional experience with a minimum 6 years of experience in database development and architecture
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Ability to analyze and present statistical information
- Experience with specific types of databases, such as relational and foundational databases
- Experience with database management software
- Ability to explain complicated concepts in simple terms
