Amentum is seeking a UI UX Designer to support our federal program in Washington, DC. Our mission provides enterprise cloud services to one of our premier law enforcement agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop mock-ups of intuitive interfaces
- Create wireframes, prototypes and interactive designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions align with technical constraints and business goals
- Create and update style guides
- Work with the development team to build mock-ups of intuitive interfaces and responsive designs based on current best practices
- Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes of easy-to-navigate user interfaces (UIs) that consists of web pages with graphics, icons, and color schemes that are visually appealing
- Develop and maintain relationships with key peers in Marketing, Branding, UX leaders, IT leaders, and others to identify and plan creative solutions
- Manage external service resources and budgets for visual design
- Work with the development teams to ensure 508 compliant designs and responsive designs based on current best practices; ensure compliance with the project management methodologies and the project
- Conduct user research to gather insights into needs, behaviors and pain points; plan, recruit, and facilitate the usability testing of a system
- Analyze and synthesize the results of usability testing to provide recommendations for change to a system
This position is contingent upon award which will be announced next week Requirements:
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of experience with 3 years of related technical specialized experience; experience considered in lieu of degree
- ·Experience developing mock-ups of intuitive interfaces, wireframes, prototypes and interactive designs
- Proven experience creating and updating style guides
- Experience conducting user research to gather insights into needs, behaviors and pain points; plan, recruit, and facilitate the usability testing of a system
