Amentum is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer SME to support our FEDSIM United States Army National Guard (G2 IS3) contract.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, deploys, and manages secure application development, testing, and execution environments leveraging DoD and external networks.
- Administers scalable cloud-based hosting solutions to support mission-critical application lifecycle requirements, integrating authentication, end-user access controls, security auditing, and compliance enforcement.
- Implements automation frameworks and DevSecOps methodologies to streamline software deployment, integrating Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for rapid fielding of new capabilities.
- Conducts evaluations, research, and testing of emerging tools, facilitating seamless integration of innovative technologies to enhance operational efficiency. Provides engineering, technical integration, and cybersecurity support for Multi-Intelligence (MI) solutions, Quick Reaction Capabilities (QRCs), and mission-critical intelligence systems.
- Develops and deploys secure software solutions using modern development practices, including Agile workflows, containerization, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Collaborates with material developers to identify and mitigate security gaps, supporting full lifecycle sustainment of intelligence applications in both enterprise and austere operational environments.
- Performs vulnerability assessments, implements security controls, and maintains compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies while enabling secure and resilient software deployment in cloud-based environments such as AWS. Participates in Engineering & Sustainment Center, Emerging Tech & Threat WG and others needed.
Required:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
- 15+ years with a BS/BA or MS/MA; or equivalent years of experience
