Amentum is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer Journeyman to support our FEDSIM United States Army National Guard (G2 IS3) contract.
Responsibilities:
- Supports systems engineering efforts by executing technical integration and evaluation of fielded and emerging intelligence systems.
- Conducts technical assessments, system validations, and interoperability testing using ARNG G-2 Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) processes.
- Develops and maintains Test Plans, Test Descriptions, and Test Reports for hardware, software, and subsystems to validate compliance with DoD, Army, and ARNG G-2 directives.
- Engages in system demonstrations, Test & Evaluation (T&E) events, and technical design reviews to assess system performance and operational effectiveness.
- Provides coordination and liaison support for large-scale military exercises, ensuring system functionality within joint operational environments.
- Assists in the development and integration of new intelligence capabilities by leveraging engineering best practices and prototyping methodologies.
- Conducts modeling and simulation (M&S) activities to analyze system performance, assess technology feasibility, and support rapid capability development. Implements system optimizations, end-to-end simulations, and sustainment modernization strategies to enhance intelligence operations.
- Captures and analyzes data from M&S exercises, documents test outcomes, and provides technical recommendations for system enhancements.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to refine integration requirements, execute proof-of-concept initiatives, and support ongoing system fielding and sustainment efforts.
- Actively supports Amentum’s implementation of the B2C2WG (Boards, Bureau, Centers, Cells, and Working Groups) model.
Required:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
- 4-9 Years with a BS/BA or MS/MA; or equivalent years of experience
