Amentum is seeking a Specialist Security Officer SME to support our FEDSIM United States Army National Guard (G2 IS3) contract.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts command-level inspections of ARNG G-2 Intelligence processing facilities to assess compliance with security regulations and classification standards.
- Leads evaluations of SCIF certification processes, coordinates with key stakeholders to review network requirements, and oversees equipment integration for classified environments.
- Provides expert guidance on the planning, engineering, and enhancement of intelligence processing facilities, advising on IT services, PED circuit installation, and procurement strategies.
- Works closely with leadership to refine security policies, mitigate vulnerabilities, and implement best practices for classified facility management.
- Oversees personnel security (PERSEC) functions by validating clearances, managing access control protocols, and monitoring construction activities within secure spaces.
- Assesses facility security operations, identifying deficiencies and recommending corrective actions to align with national security directives.
- Conducts audits of security practices, collaborates with intelligence teams to enhance SCIF oversight, and coordinates with government representatives to sustain compliance with evolving security requirements.
- Develops structured recommendations to strengthen facility security, improve operational readiness, and align intelligence processing environments with mission objectives.
- Contributes to the governance, execution, and continuous improvement of their assigned task areas by participating in relevant Centers and Working Groups aligned to their roles, technical domains, or management functions.
- This engagement ensures integrated delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and real-time responsiveness to ARNG G-2 mission priorities.
Required:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
- 15+ years with a BS/BA or MS/MA; or equivalent years of experience
