Amentum is seeking a Systems Administrator SME to support our FEDSIM United States Army National Guard (G2 IS3) contract.
Responsibilities:
- Manages and maintains enterprise-level systems, supporting application development, testing, and execution within DoD and external hosting environments.
- Oversees the administration of networks outside of traditional DoD infrastructure, enabling scalable access to tools, authentication services, security monitoring, and compliance auditing. Supports system sponsorship and network access coordination with government stakeholders, providing administrative oversight for account creation, tool access, and security controls.
- Implements and integrates innovative plug-and-play technologies to enhance system functionality and operational capabilities, enabling rapid deployment of mission-critical applications.
- Provides engineering and technical integration support for multi-intelligence solutions, Quick Reaction Capabilities (QRCs), and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Assists in research, development, installation, testing, and sustainment of hardware and software solutions designed for intelligence operations, including deployment in austere environments.
- Supports software development and cloud integration efforts using DevSecOps methodologies, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and modern automation practices.
- Conducts system performance evaluations, vulnerability assessments, and security risk analyses while maintaining compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and standards.
- Contributes to the governance, execution, and continuous improvement of their assigned task areas by participating in relevant Centers and Working Groups aligned to their roles, technical domains, or management functions.
- This engagement ensures integrated delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and real-time responsiveness to ARNG G-2 mission priorities.
Required:
- CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
- 15+ years with a BS/BA or MS/MA; or equivalent years of experience
Desired:
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
