Amentum is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Senior to support our FEDSIM United States Army National Guard (G2 IS3) contract.
Responsibilities:
- Delivers mechanical engineering expertise to support the planning, engineering, and sustainment of ARNG G-2 Intelligence Processing Facilities.
- Conducts assessments of HVAC, air filtration, and environmental control systems to maintain classified operations and meet SCIF environmental standards.
- Evaluates system capacity, equipment lifecycle, and emerging requirements to recommend and implement solutions that optimize performance and meet mission growth.
- Supports the integration of mechanical systems with electrical and IT components to provide comprehensive facility functionality.
- Coordinates with facility security teams to support SCIF certification, particularly in areas related to temperature regulation, airflow control, and sound attenuation. Oversees mechanical system procurement, installation, and sustainment activities, providing technical input for government reviews and testing processes.
- Supports coordination of PED circuit requirements, evaluates system redundancy, and advises on maintenance protocols for sustained 24/7 operational capability.
- Contributes to facility security posture through alignment of mechanical design with IC standards.
- Contributes to the governance, execution, and continuous improvement of their assigned task areas by participating in relevant Centers and Working Groups aligned to their roles, technical domains, or management functions. This engagement ensures integrated delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and real-time responsiveness to ARNG G-2 mission priorities.
Required:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
- 10-15 Years with a BS/BA or MS/MA; or equivalent years of experience
