Job Summary:
Trane Technologies is seeking a highly motivated candidate and a results-oriented candidate to join our Audit Data Analytics team. The Audit Data Analytics Consultant will be considered a subject matter expert in the design, development and use of analytics and process automation for the global Audit and SOX teams. This position will work closely with the global Audit and SOX teams to define and implement the approach to leverage and utilize analytics in audits and the SOX process, and to further automate processes. They will develop analytics and dashboard summaries. They will deliver training for Audit & SOX teams on the use of analytics and assist the enterprise in enhancing how we utilize analytics to understand and assess risk.
- Design, develop and maintain sustainable analytics that will assist in the performance of centralized audits and SOX testing and that will improve the value and efficiency of audits and SOX testing.
- Improve the level of understanding of data and visual analytics and the use of analytics in the global Audit and SOX teams.
- Improve and assist with the maturity of the control environment of the enterprise through the use of analytics, continuous auditing/monitoring and predictive analytic procedures.
- Identify and evaluate tools and opportunities to drive greater standardization & automation in processes, including but not limited to GRC, AuditBoard, process analytics.
- Mentor and guide other team members and colleagues in the domain area.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
What you will do:
- Connect, cleanse and analyze data from enterprise systems to develop advanced analytics to facilitate and automate audit and SOX risk assessment and testing and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Continually identify process improvement opportunities for how we can leverage advanced analytics and automation to increase audit and SOX testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Promote analytics usage and continuously enhance user experience through management of new analytics to ensure accuracy and completeness of the analytics, and monitor the usage and feedback obtained from the global Audit and SOX teams.
- Maintain systems utilized by the global Audit and SOX teams; understand system needs of the users and incorporate into the design; act as liaison among stakeholders to ensure good user experience of the GRC system.
- Provide training to Audit & SOX team members and functional/business stakeholders as needed on the use and application of data analytics including use of tools to assist with data analytics.
- Contribute to the identification of Audit and SOX departmental operational efficiencies.
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Respect and protect the confidentiality of information obtained during the development of the analytics and audits.
- Maintain knowledge of general business and economic developments and gain understanding of the Company's industry.
- Maintain adequate and up-to-date technical knowledge in such areas as data analytics, process automation, business process controls, and other areas as required.
- Contribute to a positive working environment characterized by constructive problem solving, peer review, effective communication, and mutual respect.
- Lead special projects as required.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Data Analytics/Science.
- Minimum 4 years experience with data analytics required. Experience within audit, assurance, or compliance functions is a plus. Big Four, audit, and/or finance experience is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with data analytics tools.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, Dataiku and/or similar tools.
- Knowledge and experience in using Power Platform to automate processes. Understanding of Power Automate and Power App is a plus.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large data sets.
- Strong proficiency in SQL databases. Knowledge in Python is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage, processing, and analytics.
- Technical expertise with data models, data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of programming (XML, JavaScript, Visual Basic).
- Strong knowledge of API. Prior experience with building API connection is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of business finance, accounting and audit.
- Familiar with Oracle ERP, Cloudera Hadoop, Hyperion is a plus.
- Knowledge in predictive models is a plus.
- Knowledge in data science (algorithms/machine learning) is a plus.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $97,550-152,500
This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, and geographic location where the work is performed.
