Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scrum Master with excellent facilitation skills and exceptional speaking and written communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Scrum and Kanban, be highly collaborative with team members and stakeholders, and possess experience in process improvements and follow-through. This individual requires minimal management involvement but understands that Leadership and Coaches will provide goals and directions based on company and organizational objectives. Our team operates at a high pace and demonstrates a sense of urgency where needed, always striving to improve performance and quality. Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and Kanban practices.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements and ensure follow-through on initiatives.
- Guide and coach the team on Agile practices and principles.
- Remove impediments and blockers to ensure smooth progress.
- Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog management and prioritization.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Track and report team progress and metrics, explaining them clearly to the team and stakeholders.
- Mentor and support junior Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners.
- Manage four teams simultaneously, ensuring alignment and coordination.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and high pace in team operations.
Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Excellent facilitation, speaking, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in process improvements and ensuring follow-through.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work well with team members and stakeholders.
- Competent in Power BI and Copilot.
