About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Liquidity Funding Management Analyst for their Treasury team.
Treasury at Wells Fargo is a dynamic team that is responsible for managing Wells Fargo's balance sheet including capital, liquidity, funding, and interest rate risk management. Treasury seeks to ensure Wells Fargo always maintains sufficient capital and liquidity resources to support growth in the Company's businesses, while also ensuring a satisfactory financial cushion exists to protect against unforeseen stresses in the economic environment or the Company's operations. Treasury also provides regulators, senior leaders, and the Board of Directors with key information to support risk management, financial performance management, and strategic planning.
In this role, you will:- Review, analyze, and report on the firm's liquidity position, including supporting the development of funding and liquidity management strategies
- Review and analyze basic data to produce reporting and analytics on treasury finance liquidity and funding management
- Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and provide overall advisory on treasury finance liquidity and funding management
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
- Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
- Present recommendations for effectively managing the firm's liquidity position
- Collaborate and consult with peers, functional colleagues, internal partners and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers as well as outside parties
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:- 2+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Experience with liquidity management
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Understanding of the robust regulatory environment impacting the banking sector including capital, liquidity, stress testing, and resolution planning
- Knowledge and understanding of general ledgers and accounting policies
Job Expectations:- Completing thoughtful data and statistical analysis to inform refinement of existing stress testing assumptions.
- Assisting in the preparation of additional ad-hoc analyses/presentations and completing special projects.
- Providing financial analysis and researching in support of liquidity planning.
- Assisting the group in developing and maintaining appropriate documentation for assumptions, methodologies, and analysis while adhering to the enterprise model risk governance requirements.
- Identifying and implementing solutions related to liquidity issues and contribute to on-going strategic decisions at various levels.
- Monitoring requirements to improve reporting and compliance activities and completing user acceptance testing of implementation.
- Working with business units to identify strategies that mitigate liquidity risk as well as substantiating liquidity stress testing assumptions, serving as the subject matter expert regarding liquidity regulations and stress testing methodologies.
- Support data processes to support compliance with regulations on liquidity management and stress testing guidance.
- Assist in the Governance & Oversight framework documentation and controls including reconciliation and variance analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of attention to detail, and critical thinking. They will possess good communication (speaking, writing and PowerPoint) and organization skills, with the proven capability to manage to deadlines. She/he will be able to work with limited supervision, be highly organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and take on new challenges.
