About your role:
As a Quality Assurance Engineering - Sr Professional I, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the quality and performance of our software products. Your expertise will be critical in upholding our high standards and delivering reliable solutions to our clients. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to identify issues, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in our QA processes. This role offers an opportunity to leverage your skills to make a significant impact on our product offerings and the overall user experience.
What you'll do:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Prepare/Create mock data needed for executing user stories for positive and negative test cases
- Setup data for integrated testing.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing scripts.
- Write test automation scripts using SOAP utilities or Rest Assured
- Execute test automation scripts manually or automatically using Jenkin. Setup CICD process to automate the execution of test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects. Work with development team to get the issues resolved and retest
- Provide the demo to stakeholders and get approval for release.
- Certify software adhering to standards and business requirements.
- Ensure that JIRA and time entries are in place for QA work
- Under limited direction, research, define, document, and prototype additions and changes to ESF product.
- Apply best practices in quality assurance to ensure high-quality deliverables. Adhere to technical and functional standards
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, an associate degree in Computer Programming, or equivalent education in a related discipline is required. Related work experience can be substituted for educational requirement
- 6+ years experience testing technical solutions
- 2+ years of experience in automation testing
- 2+ years of experience in performance testing
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Candidates should be creative, self-motivated, problem solver with the ability to analyze a broad range of technologies. They should also possess good communication and writing skills, be able to effectively multi-task, and have a strong analytical skill
- Experience with manual and automation testing of Java applications and RestAPIs.
- Experience with Postman, SOAP API
- Experience in RestAssured is must
- Experience in Groovy or Python is a plus
- Familiarity with security testing practices
- Understanding of software development lifecycles
- Certification in software testing methodologies
