What does a successful Identity and Access Governance (IGA) Engineer do?
You will be a crucial member of our IGA team, focusing on governance frameworks, identity lifecycle management, SailPoint IIQ, incident management, auditing, and application integration. Your role ensures secure and compliant workforce identity operations. With extensive expertise in IGA services, IAM technologies, access remediation strategies, and data governance, you'll drive the implementation of secure, efficient identity governance strategies at Fiserv.
What you will do:
- Oversee, manage, and implement identity lifecycle processes within IGA services using SailPoint IIQ to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Lead access certification campaigns by scheduling and prioritizing entitlement campaigns, guiding nested group remediation efforts, and resolving groups with missing members impacting IGA.
- Direct the administration of provisioning and de-provisioning activities across enterprise systems for IGA services.
- Manage incident handling and remediation related to identity and access issues, ensuring timely resolution and reporting and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define IAM governance requirements for IGA and deliver scalable, effective solutions, including application integration approaches.
- Develop and maintain IAM dashboards and reports focused on IGA metrics, monitoring performance and compliance.
- Support internal and external audits related to IGA user access and entitlements to identify risks and ensure adherence to regulations such as FFIEC, PCI, SOC, SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Stay abreast of trends in IGA services and recommend enhancements to optimize the identity governance framework within Fiserv.
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in IAM with a focus on IGA services and SailPoint IIQ, including proven leadership or managerial experience.
- Strong understanding of IGA lifecycle processes, access certifications, and governance frameworks applicable to workforce identity.
- Hands-on experience in creating classification tags, data preparation and cleansing, role modeling and campaign design/configuration, incident management, policy and compliance awareness, user experience optimization, and nested group remediation within IGA.
- Proficiency in data analysis using relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and scripting or programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, SQL) for automated IGA processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., FFIEC, PCI, SOC, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- SailPoint certifications (e.g., Identity Security Engineer Certification).
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
- Experience with additional IAM tools and cloud-based identity solutions related to workforce identity management.
- Knowledge and experience in application integration practices relate to IAM.
