What does a successful Application Support Professional do at Fiserv?
As an Application Support Professional, you will supervise a dedicated team to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of critical business applications. This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, implementing improvements, and collaborating with various teams to improve application performance and reliability, all while leading your team to success.
As a member of the CCC Support Organization you will have the opportunity to maintain and support Fiserv's customer facing reporting system, working directly with Customers, Business Partners and internal organizations to provide best in class business monitoring and reporting! Additionally, you will be a part of the largest support team within Fiserv, adding value to countless value added services provided by Fiserv.
You’ll be expected to be a part of an on-call rotation for any production issues that arise.

What you will do:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, and escalate when necessary
- Monitor application performance and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of support activities and procedures.
- Provide mentorship and training to team members
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless application support
What you will need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in application support
- 2+ years of experience leading teams
- 2+ years of experience in SQL databases
- 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
- Experience with automation and scripting languages
- Experience with Java, Snowflake Kafka, AWS, CI/CD concepts and tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle or Jenkins
- Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira board process
