What does a successful Senior Application Support Lead do at Fiserv?
As a Senior Application Support Lead, you will be part of a dedicated team ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical business applications. This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing guidance to end-users, and collaborating with various teams to improve application performance and reliability.
As a member of the CCC Support Organization you will have the opportunity to maintain and support Fiserv's customer facing reporting system, working directly with Customers, Business Partners and internal organizations to provide best in class business monitoring and reporting! Additionally, you will be a part of the largest support team within Fiserv, adding value to countless value added services provided by Fiserv.
You’ll be expected to be a part of an on-call rotation for any production issues that arise.

What you will do:
- Provide expert-level support for business applications, ensuring maximum uptime and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, collaborating with development teams as needed
- Monitor application performance and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability
- Document support activities, maintain detailed logs, and develop user guides and training materials
- Mentor junior support staff and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in application support
- 2+ years of experience in SQL databases
- 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
- Experience with automation and scripting languages
- Experience with Java, Snowflake Kafka, AWS, CI/CD concepts and tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle or Jenkins
- Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira board process
- Financial services/Payments industry experience
