Program Summary
KBR is searching for an experienced C++ Programmer to study, design, prepare specifications, and perform services related to electrical and electronic systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
KBR is looking to add a C++ programmer to our Beavercreek Team. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Performs a variety of engineering work in the development of an operable system capable of meeting requirements within imposed constraints including mass, cost and schedule. Designs and/or research subsystem interfaces to ensure that subsystems are integrated and work together to form a viable complete system. Performs functional analysis of a system to ensure it meets performance criteria and mission constraints and to feed the analysis results back to the subsystem development teams.
Required Skills and Experience
Focused (2 years or more) experience in writing code using C/C++ and Unix; including templates, STL, C++14/17.
Enhanced leveraging of web development tools for new applications
Strong understanding of RDBMS databases, testing tools, methodologies and modern SCM
Advanced knowledge of testing tools, methodologies and modern SCM
Preferred Skills and Experience
Proficient in defining quality and security standards with strong database administration skills.
Keen insight into data structures & algorithms, network stack (CPU, NIC, PCIe, and related drivers)
Ability to integrate other development languages, including Java, Python, or Perl and shell scripts a plus.
