Key Responsibilities:
KBR is seeking PWSA Cloud Engineer.
Supports development, acquisition, execution, and management of the SDA’s government-owned, contractor-operated cloud environments for the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA)
Develops and implements scalable government cloud architectures and cost estimates
Serves as a cloud engineer and technician for the PWSA Ground Program (PGP) and supports execution of Ground Segment contracts
Works with other engineers, architects, developers, technicians, and external stakeholders to verify and deploy cloud solutions in accordance with PWSA requirements
Work Environment:
Location: Local proximity to Chantilly, VA, Redstone Arsenal, AL, or Grand Forks, ND, Hybrid Position
Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-10% Ability to travel monthly to quarterly depending on operations tempo 10% (4 days quarter)

Qualifications:
Required:
TS clearance required; must be able to obtain/maintain SCI
5 years’ experience in cloud computing, including authentication methods and encryption standards
Security+ certification is required
Knowledge of cloud application frameworks and implementation
Ability to work in fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated, critical thinking, problem solving, and strong analytical abilities
Ability to travel monthly to quarterly depending on operations tempo 10% (4 days quarter)
Desired:
Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM)
10 years’ experience in cloud environments and associated elements
Technical and analytic understanding of satellite and ground system interaction
2 years’ privileged production access on the Amazon Web Services management console supporting business or mission workloads
Hybrid and/or multi-cloud experience
DoD 8140 IAT certification such as CISSP, CCSP, or CASP, or hands-on cloud experience and education necessary to achieve DoD Regulation 8140 requirements

Basic Compensation:
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
