Amentum is seeking a Asset Management Lead Senior to support our FEDSIM United States Army National Guard (G2 IS3) contract.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes enterprise-level IT asset management strategies for ARNG G-2 and strategic partners, overseeing the full lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposition.
- Directs asset tracking, classification, tagging, and reconciliation processes in compliance with Army Regulation (AR) 25-1, DoDI 5000.64, and applicable DoD/IC policies.
- Leads the integration of asset management systems with Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Change Management, Release Management, and IT Service Desk platforms to optimize asset tracking and reporting.
- Maintains and enhances the Asset Management Database, providing analytics on asset inventory, lifecycle milestones, and procurement needs. Identifies hardware and software nearing End of Life (EOL) or warranty expiration and delivers recommendations for replacement or renewal.
- Oversees procurement planning, conducts cost analysis, and prepares acquisition documentation, coordinating asset transactions from requisition through final acceptance. Provides nationwide leadership across four ARNG regions, directing the implementation of asset policy, lifecycle management frameworks, and standard operating procedures. Interfaces regularly with regional leads and ARNG G-2 stakeholders to assess progress, address cross-regional challenges, and convert A-Sight data into actionable, enterprise-level intelligence.
- Leads strategic consulting efforts focused on readiness strategies, regulatory compliance, and data normalization.
- Guides asset management reporting and data governance efforts in support of operational effectiveness and readiness posture. Supports standardization of enterprise asset practices, aligning asset visibility, sustainment planning, and accountability with broader mission objectives.
- Contributes to the governance, execution, and continuous improvement of their assigned task areas by participating in relevant Centers and Working Groups aligned to their roles, technical domains, or management functions. This engagement ensures integrated delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and real-time responsiveness to ARNG G-2 mission priorities.
Required:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph
- 10-15 Years with a BS/BA or MS/MA; or equivalent years of experience
