Description:You will be the Quality Manager for Mission & Business for the team which is responsible for overseeing quality across multiple sites and functions.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Manager for Mission & Business, you will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality outcomes. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including Control Account Managers (CAM), Contract & Proposal Integrators (CPI), and Capture Quality Engineers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing guidance and oversight to employees across multiple sites to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborating with all functions, Lines of Business (LOBs), and programs to integrate quality practices.
- Developing and implementing quality strategies to improve processes and outcomes.
- Leading and managing quality initiatives to achieve challenging goals.
- Interacting with various stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded in all aspects of the business.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:- Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience.
- Firm understanding of Value Stream management structures across the Aeronautics organization.
- Risk and Opportunity identification, elevation, and mitigation.
Desired Skills:- Experience starting an organization, deploying strategy and effectively establishing the desired business model.
- CAM.
- CPI.
- Capture Quality Engineering.
- BOE Author.
- Developing processes and procedures for standard work.
- Building relationships with internal and external customers.
- Experience with aerospace and defense programs.
- Project Management.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
