Description:You will be the Infrared Search and Track Production Operations Senior Manager for the Infrared Search and Track team. Our team is responsible for leading operations execution of complex defense programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the IRST Production Operations Senior Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex defense products. You will lead and/or participate in the development and implementation of operations execution strategies, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with program requirements and company goals.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Operations Leadership: Ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex defense products, including leading and/or participating in the development and implementation of operations execution strategies, objectives, and deliverables.
- Production Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of production operations management, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management. You will manage detailed project execution plans and strategies, milestones, and timelines, and monitor operations execution progress, leading corrective actions and recovery plans as needed.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external functional partners, and key stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for production operations-related communications.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture, providing guidance and support to all production operations teams to achieve program objectives successfully and consistently.
- Financial Management: Take ownership and accountability for production operations budgets and financial forecasts, being cost-conscious and ensuring financial targets are achieved, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality as required.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, developing and implementing risk management plans and contingency strategies, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and deliver regular production operations status reports to the program office, management, and customers as required, maintaining comprehensive information and documentation to ensure relevant production operations information is well-documented and traceable.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of defense industry regulations and requirements, including ITAR, DFARS, and FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation).
- Experience working under Un-definitized Contract Actions and construction and commissioning of manufacturing facilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite: Ability to create project and milestone charts, and use data and create value added presentations to report updates, status reports, etc.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (ERP, Visio, Project etc.).
- Experience with customer and stakeholder communication
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
Desired Skills:- Master’s degree preferred – MBA, Engineering, or related field
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Earned Value Management System experience
- Experience leading cross functional teams and working across different business organizations and customer communities
- Proven experience managing large, complex programs with budgets exceeding $100 million.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
