Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced CAOC Liaison Officer (LNO) to support U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) aviation operations in coordination with the SOUTHCOM AOR partner nations intelligence requirements. This role is embedded at the 12th Air Force CAOC at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and serves as the primary point of contact for Government aviation programs. The CAOC LNO will play a critical role in managing ISR flight operations and optimizing daily sorties of contracted ISR systems.
This position plays a vital role in supporting operational objectives under a long-standing contract that has delivered over a decade of continuous support to USSOUTHCOM in areas such as Counter Narcotics, Countering Transnational Organized Crime, C5ISR, and intelligence analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison for Government aviation programs in coordination with SOUTHCOM AOR partner nation intelligence requirements.
- Manage the coordination of ISR flight operations in support of USSOUTHCOM objectives.
- Act as the interlocutor between contractor personnel and Government leadership commanding the CAOC.
- Apply expert knowledge of contracted ISR aircraft operations to assist in optimizing daily sortie planning and execution.
- Collaborate with CAOC personnel to ensure effective integration of ISR capabilities into the Air Tasking Order (ATO) cycle.
Required Qualification:
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of ten years of experience with Joint Airborne ISR Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and aviation/ISR operations.
- Minimum of seven years of experience utilizing Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) and Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) capabilities and TTPs employed by modern manned ISR platforms.
- Minimum of five years of experience working with Tier 1 ISR Units or Special Missions Units (SMUs).
- Minimum of five years of experience supporting CAOC operations, including infrastructure and Air Tasking Order (ATO) cycle planning and execution.
