About your role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Cloud expert to join our team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS, Terraform, and modern DevOps practices, with a strong understanding of cloud networking and infrastructure automation.
What you’ll do:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Configure and manage VPCs, Route 53, and other networking components.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments and testing.
- Monitor cloud environments using CloudWatch, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage and secure cloud resources including IAM roles/policies, RDS, and Lambda functions.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner.
Experience you’ll need to have:
- 6+ years of enterprise systems engineering experience.
- 5+ years of scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, Terraform, CloudFormation, serverless architecture using AWS Lambda.
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- 3+ years of experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, etc.).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts in AWS (VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, NAT, Route 53).
- Knowledge of IAM best practices and security configurations.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, ECS, EKS).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
How you'll work:
- This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
