Who You Are
As a Global Supply Chain, Program Management-Subcontract Manager, you'll be a seasoned supply chain professional with a passion for leading high-performing teams that monitor the cost, quality, schedule, financial and technical development of moderate-to high-complexity performance specification products which support Advanced Development Program (ADP) contracts.
You should excel in fast-paced environments, lead with agility, have strong business acumen, possess excellent communication and coaching skills, and stay committed to delivering exceptional results that meet program objectives.
What You Will Be Doing
You'll manage subordinate teams overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs. Direct and manages all costs, quality, schedule, financial and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system.
You'll develop sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs and execution.
You'll also act as the point of contact to the subcontractor and program management office and be responsible for and direct all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for "make or buy" decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability and program execution.
You'll make decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. Establish milestone objectives and manage performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. Lead teams normally composed of engineers, quality and procurement personnel.

This role is located at a site that requires special access and US Citizenship. You'll be required to obtain secret security clearance after hire.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 8+ years of professional experience
-Experience with FAR/DFAR
-Professional Experience working Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals including, processes, procedures, policies, systems, and overall understanding of subcontracts
-Experience with Subcontractor Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
-Advanced communication experience, with ability to interface with all levels of leadership
-Risk Management experience
-Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office
Desired Skills:
-Development and presentation of program/supplier assessments, internal/external program reviews and root cause and corrective actions
-Excellent presentation skills, with experience preparing and delivering presentations to various audiences
-Experience with different contracting types
-Ability to mentor, teach and train overall SCM contracting concepts
-Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently
-Strong desire to develop and implement strategic initiatives for your organization and drive the team through execution

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
