What does a successful Senior Director of Finance do? As a Senior Director of Finance at Fiserv, you will play a key role within our Core Account Processing Solutions (CAPS) team, responsible for managing the P&L with $325M+ in annual revenue. Aligned with Fiserv’s mission to lead and innovate in fintech, you will oversee the financial strategy and operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. You will collaborate with senior leadership to drive profitability and growth, fostering a culture of excellence and trust among your team.
What you'll do:
- Lead financial planning and analysis for a high-growth core platform business, managing $325M+ annual revenue P&L.
- Develop and implement long-term financial plans, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Report progress against financial commitments to executive leadership, monitoring key transactions, risks, and opportunities.
- Maintain controls and oversight of the monthly close process and report results to internal stakeholders.
- Partner regularly with relationship management, sales, and business partners to drive results and resolve client escalations.
- Create ad-hoc business cases and conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and drive growth/profitability.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of three finance professionals, fostering a culture of trust and challenge.
Experience you'll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and equivalent combination of education, work experience and/or equivalent military experience.
- 8+ years with revenue recognition accounting principles and policies.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- Experience with Excel-based financial modeling.
Experience that would be great to have:
- MBA and/or CPA.
- Experience with SAP and SAP Business Analyzer.
- Experience in financial services or software industries.
How you'll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
