About the Role We are seeking a visionary Technology Director to lead our Product & Release Engineering Enablement function. This is a high-impact, director-level role reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, responsible for driving cross-cutting product and release engineering strategies that support the entire CDXO portfolio.

This role ensures alignment across product teams and drives a cohesive product line vision, while coordinating cross-product release dependencies to enable successful and timely delivery. It leads CDXO Product adoption strategies, fosters strong partnerships with the developer community, and enhances developer experience, productivity, and satisfaction.
In this role, you will:Product & Portfolio Alignment - Drive a unified product line strategy across CDXO platforms aligned with enterprise goals and developer needs.
- Coordinate cross-product release dependencies and delivery timelines.
Developer Experience & Productivity Engineering - Champion developer-centric workflows and frictionless delivery through scalable platforms.
- Lead adoption strategies that enhance developer productivity and engineering quality.
Release Engineering & Decisioning - Design frameworks for release orchestration, decisioning, and risk-aware velocity optimization.
- Ensure product readiness and compliance across release cycles.
Lifecycle & Governance Oversight - Oversee lifecycle management, third-party governance, vulnerability and compliance, and vendor relationships.
- Partner with cybersecurity, risk, and compliance to embed secure-by-design principles.
Enablement Content & Learning Strategy - Define and execute training strategies with internal and external learning partners.
- Deliver high-quality onboarding, documentation, and enablement experiences.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement - Track key metrics for product adoption, developer satisfaction, and platform effectiveness.
- Use insights to drive continuous improvement and platform evolution.
Financial Stewardship & Strategic Planning - Lead resource planning and financial oversight for enablement platforms.
- Influence investment decisions and roadmap priorities across CDXO and partners.
Leadership & Culture - Lead a high-performing team and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and talent development.
- Influence stakeholders across all levels to drive alignment and adoption.
Required Qualifications: - 8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 8+ years in technology leadership, product management, Software development or platform engineering within complex, regulated environments
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Technical Depth - Strong expertise in Application Development, API, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift), with experience in secure software supply chains and platform engineering.
Strategic Vision - Proven ability to translate enterprise goals into scalable platform strategies and measurable engineering outcomes, with a focus on developer experience and release velocity.
Developer Empathy & Enablement - Deep understanding of developer workflows, pain points, and productivity drivers. Passion for building intuitive tools and enablement platforms that improve engineering quality and satisfaction.
Risk & Compliance Acumen - Experience integrating enterprise risk frameworks and compliance requirements into platform design, release decisioning, and lifecycle governance.
Regulated Industry Background - Prior experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries, with an understanding of the balance between innovation and control.
Education & Leadership - Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and influencing across complex organizations.

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
