Amentum is seeking a Field Engineer to support contract efforts in Groton, CT.
Essential Responsibilities:
Advises customer on requirements for products and services, support equipment and electronic equipment installations.
Review and process changes to SWFTS Undocking Paperwork for all SWFTS docking events.
Review and provide feedback of SWFTS TI/APB life cycle upgrades all Classes of Submarines.
Review and process the end of installation certification for SWFTS systems.
Review and comment on weekly readiness meetings in support of SIIMO in-house planning team, OSICs and SIIMO Management Team.
Work with the Quality team to provide Objective Quality Evidence when required.
Support with Memorandum of Agreement writing and routing when required.
Weekly remote interface with NIWC and Amentum personnel at ST J’s Annex Portsmouth VA
Weekly remote interface with NAVSEA Shipyards irt to SWFTS TI/APB upgrades
Minimum Requirements:
Must have an active Secret US Government security clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to maintain a Secret security clearance
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Five (5) years of practical experience or HS Diploma and Thirteen (13) years of equivalent experience.

Compensation:
The minimum starting annual salary for this position is $93,000. Factors which may affect starting pay may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
