A great Solutions Architecture - Advisor II at Fiserv partners with product, engineering and business teams to translate strategy into resilient, scalable and secure architectures. You’ll design integration approaches across platforms, validate technical trade-offs against business outcomes, and champion patterns that reduce operational risk. You balance immediate delivery needs with long-term platform health and mentor junior architects and engineers, so the team learns faster and ships higher-quality solutions.
What you will do:
- Develop and operationalize solutions architecture strategies, frameworks and roadmaps.
- Work directly with business units to align architecture decisions with measurable business objectives.
- Provide cross-platform guidance on integration patterns, APIs and data flows.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve performance, cost or security.
- Produce and maintain architecture models, blueprints and decision records.
What You Will Need To Have:
- 6+ years of experience in solutions architecture and design.
- Experience developing and integrating solutions using Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure or AWS (design, deployment and operational experience).
- Bachelor’s degree and equivalent combination of education, experience and/or military experience.
What Would Be Great To Have:
- 3+ years hands-on experience with the Spring framework, including Spring Boot.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Prior experience in the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with Azure GovCloud or other regulated-cloud environments.
- Microsoft certifications
Important information about this role:
- This role is remote in Indiana, Monday through Friday.
