Program Overview
The mission of the Lone Wolf program is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network – Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES) which is a DoD-provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data, global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff. The Lone Wolf program boasts a professional workforce comprised of specialists throughout the Information Technology lifecycle and who contribute to a positive work environment.
We are seeking a dedicated Field Engineer to join our team in the US. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering innovative engineering solutions that align with our mission of sustainability and connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Perform as senior-level contributor with knowledge and experience in local and wide area networking, communications, and related software/hardware within a secure, multi-platform operating environment.
- Provide support to a large and diverse customer base as a member of a complex team comprised of contractors and government personnel.
- Assist with integration of network and hardware infrastructure, including the planning, design, installation, maintenance, and management of the enterprise LAN/WAN
- Perform installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of the following devices: KG-175 TACLANE encryption devices; Cisco routers; switches; VoIP phones and VTC devices; rack infrastructure; servers; UPS; and networked printers, scanners, digital senders, workstation computers, and all associated desktop peripherals.
- Provide Windows 10/11 desktop administration and end-user support, including operating system deployment and imaging via MECM, client application installation, roaming profiles, troubleshooting, and peripheral support.
- Install, label, and organize interior STP CAT5/6 copper, fiber, and AV cabling to include cable management.
- Review mission scope-of-work requirements and technical design packages
Qualifications
- Must have active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or TS with the ability to acquire SCI
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience installing and integrating hardware components into network and telecommunications infrastructures
- Ability to configure and optimize hardware for optimal network performance and reliability
- Must have in-depth knowledge of PC and LAN communication hardware and architecture
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues in VTC systems
- Strong Windows 10 desktop administration skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the National Capital Region (NCR); Occasional multiday travel outside of the NCR may be required.
- Must possess one of the following 8140 IAT Level II Certification
