Description:Lockheed Martin’s Space Software Factory is seeking a Senior Staff DevSecOps Engineer who will own the end to end automation of integration and testing across a diverse set of software products—including flight software, ground systems, simulators, and ancillary tools—to create a unified “single build chain.”
In this role you will mature automated integration and testing across our suite of space flight software, champion early stage integration, and drive repeatable, high velocity pipelines using the latest DevSecOps tools and methodologies. You will act as a technical leader and clear communicator, aligning multiple product teams and relentlessly pursuing speed, reliability, and repeatability of software integration and test for the program.
As a member of the Software Factory team, you will develop software that underpins some of the world’s most cutting edge space missions, while helping the organization adopt modern, secure development practices.
Basic Qualifications:- Experience with at least one modern programming language
- Strong experience with modern software development tools and technologies, such as Gitlab,
CI/CD, Containerization, Automated Testing
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Active TS/SCI
Desired Skills:-Bachelor’s degree in a software, engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
- Deep Experience with orchestration and CI/CD
- Experience with Configuration Management and Artifact Repository tools
-Familiarity with provisioning and managing cloud resources; cloud agnostic infrastructure as code and configuration as code technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud native technologies and standards around container orchestration, package management, admission control, logging and monitoring, service mesh and traffic observability.
-Deep Experience with test driven development; automated testing best practices
-Deep Experience with Hardware / Software Integration best practices
- Familiarity with Build Tools and Automation
-Familiarity with Government DevSecOps initiatives.
-Self-motivated with strong teamwork and organizational skills.
-Comfortable working with different customers in varying work environments

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
