About this role:Wells Fargo is recruiting for a Lead Business Accountability Specialist within the Enterprise Internal Fraud organization under Global Operations. This position serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the head of the Enterprise Internal Fraud Organization, functioning as a direct report and individual contributor. The role is pivotal, with responsibilities encompassing strategic business planning, functional business management, preparation of senior leader presentations, and oversight of EIF horizontal organizational programs. An advanced understanding of sub-functional integration, coordination, and contribution to overarching business objectives is essential. Candidates should possess outstanding organizational and analytical skills, proficiency in project management principles, and expertise in Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. The position demands a high level of discretion, independence, and capacity to handle multiple projects concurrently. Superior communication and influencing abilities are required to cultivate effective relationships with peers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment, responsiveness, and leadership excellence. Individual performance directly impacts the work and success of all teams within the organization.
In this role, you will:- Handle sensitive and confidential information and initiatives with a high degree of professionalism
- Prepare executive-level communications, presentations, and reports for senior leadership to ensure clarity and consistency of messaging, and create management materials and collateral for internal and external use including monthly executive business reviews, quarterly all hands meetings, risk and operating committee meetings, and external industry meetings
- Serve as a central point of contact for organization business needs ensuring alignment and effective communication across teams including management cadences such as meetings and offsites-while managing the EIF looking forward calendar and leadership agenda to ensure delivery of key priorities and routines
- Champion cross team activities for continuous improvement activities reducing unnecessary tasks and improve outcomes
- Execute the communication strategy for the Enterprise Internal Fraud Organization, including newsletters, website maintenance, and SharePoint updates
- Manage staff allocation/forecasts, budget forecasts and tasks for the Enterprise Internal Fraud organization
- Lead complex initiatives with broad impact which are designed to mitigate current and emerging business risk issues and concerns; act as key participant in large-scale, cross-functional planning for the business
- Assess, analyze, and design complex and multi-faceted controls, protocols, and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment, including ensuring effective planning for sustainability, ongoing control adherence, reporting, measurement, technology impacts, and monitoring
- Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business's functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; influence and lead key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid to senior-level managers to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in interpreting, developing, and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
- Act as liaison for the business with external parties to support timeliness, appropriate response strategy, and effectiveness of communications and materials
- May lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of strategic planning experience
- 2+ years of experience creating and delivering executive level presentations
Desired Qualifications:- Ability to create dynamic executive level PowerPoint presentations including charts and graphs that tell a story
- Experience managing or owning strategic goals and initiatives for a business unit
- Experience developing and executing communication strategies by collaborating with large, matrixed teams
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- The ability to present to executive level audiences
- Issue management oversight experience
- Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
- Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives

Job Expectations:- The ability to travel 25% of the time
