We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Recruiter with a strong background in financial services and broad recruiting expertise. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of recruiting experience, hold one or more active FINRA licenses, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment. This role requires exceptional relationship management skills, as you will partner with hiring managers throughout the company to deliver top talent and support business growth. The Sr. Recruiting Specialist (SRS) researches, sources, identifies, and qualifies top candidates for experienced Financial Advisor positions.
In this role, directly influence the company’s growth and client experience by ensuring top talent is hired quickly and compliantly. Your ability to manage high volume recruiting, support hiring managers and onboard advisors effectively will strengthen our workforce, reduce time-to-fill and maintain the highest standards of service for our clients. By bringing in the right people at the right time, you will help drive both operational excellence and client confidence in our firm.
What will the employee do in this role?
- Partner and build relationships with District Advisors to identify their specific hiring needs for each office.
- Work with District Advisors on upcoming recruiting needs, provide candidate write-ups/briefs and request feedback on candidates.Manages candidate pipeline.
- Develops and implements innovative sourcing strategies to source top talent.
- Develops and manages interview process that will strengthen the recruiting experience and inspire candidates to view First Command as an employer of choice.
- Cultivate relationships with candidates and provide timely feedback to each candidate throughout the recruitment process.
- Continued education with recruiting or industry certifications
- Staying current on relevant recruiting platforms
- Ensures job postings are accurate and reflective of the company brand and current recruitment requirements.
- Develop and conduct field training for District Advisors designed to improve recruiting efficiencies.
- Develop, performs and reports to recruiting metrics.
- Mentor, coach, training field hiring managers and local recruiting team
What Skills & Qualifications do you need?
Education
- Required:Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years of recruiting experience
Work Experience
- Required:
- 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within financial services, banking, or professional services.
- 3+ years of sourcing candidates for sales positions
- 3+ years of experience conducting and managing candidate onboarding
- Experience with recruiting tools like: FINTRX, LinkedIn, Indeed etc.
- Proficient in using Recruiting tools like RIVAL, Salesforce, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, FINTRX and other sourcing tools
- Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Certifications
- Preferred:
- Active FINRA license and/or State Insurance license
- AIRS Certified Internet Recruiter
- LinkedIn Certified Recruiter

- Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task, and work independently without direct supervision.
- Capable of conducting detailed research and professionally communicating results.
- Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills; exceptional phone skill is a must.
- Must be able to prioritize constantly changing duties/assignments/situations/problems.
- Ability to handle and safeguard confidential materials/information.
