The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manager of International Accounting to join our global finance team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely execution of international accounting processes, with a strong focus on monthly close, statutory audits, tax support, allocations, and transfer pricing. The ideal candidate will bring technical skills, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple regions.
What you'll do
- Function as the primary contact for assigned statutory financial statements. Coordinate with regional teams and external auditors to ensure the timely and accurate completion of annual statutory audits.
- Lead and oversee the preparation, recording, and analysis of multi-currency journal entries across regional entities to ensure an accurate and timely close in compliance with GAAP. Prepare monthly account reconciliations, review reconciliations completed by the Senior Accountant, and provide guidance as needed to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Partner with Tax leadership to provide supporting documentation for the preparation of regional tax returns. Assist in addressing inquiries from the Tax team and external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filings.
- Conduct annual allocation reviews, support transfer pricing adjustments, and partner with Tax leadership to ensure compliance.
- Lead initiatives to streamline accounting processes, perform technical accounting research, and support cross-functional projects.
- Train and guide regional teams on Oracle, GL Wand, and SharePoint; provide mentorship and oversight to the International Senior Accountant.
You'll be successful if you have
- Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of practices and concepts associated with GAAP.
- Strong PC skills, including Excel, Oracle, and Hyperion (HFM).
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external contacts.
- Meticulous, self-motivated and able to work on cross functional teams.
- Innovative collaborator that challenges current processes.
- Project management skills to effectively lead process improvement initiatives and manage multiple priorities, ensuring deadlines are met for statutory audits, monthly closes, and tax filings.
- Experience with multi-currency accounting and consolidations, given the need to oversee journal entries and reconciliations across various regional entities.
- Coaching and leadership abilities to mentor regional teams and the International Senior Accountant, fostering knowledge sharing and process consistency.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA preferred.
- Public accounting experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
For U.S. based positions only, the expected pay range for this position is $101,000-$125,000 annually.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation such as work location, background, experience, and performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible to receive an incentive payment pursuant to the Annual Incentive Plan with a 15% annual target, subject to the terms of the Plan.
