The Role
We are seeking a Global M&A Technology Manager to serve as a trusted partner to our Managing Director, Technology. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for planning and executing technology integrations across newly acquired international firms.
Unlike traditional integration roles, this position will often work with firms that have no dedicated IT staff and minimal infrastructure. You will be expected to design solutions from the ground up, adapt to diverse regional contexts, and deliver consistent outcomes across borders. Operating at the intersection of technology, compliance, and business transformation, you will ensure integrations meet Andersen’s global standards while respecting local regulations such as GDPR, data residency requirements, and jurisdiction-specific IT practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the MD to lead technology integration across acquisitions worldwide, from pre-close planning through full systems migration.
- Conduct rapid IT assessments to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities in acquired firms.
- Lead infrastructure, cloud, and collaboration integrations, including Microsoft 365 migrations, identity management, networking, and endpoint management.
- Establish and enforce baseline cybersecurity and compliance standards across all firms, with a focus on GDPR, cross-border data transfer, and regional privacy laws.
- Design and execute data migration strategies for email, file systems, applications, and databases with minimal disruption.
- Rationalize and consolidate applications, vendors, and contracts while balancing global standardization with local jurisdictional requirements.
- Develop and maintain a scalable IT integration playbook — creating repeatable processes, templates, and toolkits to accelerate future integrations.
- Coordinate with legal, risk, finance, and HR leaders to ensure technology integration aligns with broader business and compliance goals.
- Serve as a cultural and operational bridge, working closely with leaders of acquired firms to earn trust and embed Andersen’s technology standards.
- Must be able to adjust working hours to meet the demands of non-U.S. firms in different time zones.
- Significant international travel may be required.
The Requirements
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field required.
- 7+ years in IT, including direct responsibility for M&A or post-merger technology integrations.
- Proven ability to integrate firms outside the U.S., navigating cultural, legal, and operational differences.
- Hands-on track record building IT environments where little to no prior infrastructure existed.
- Experience partnering with C-level technology leadership during complex transformations.
- Background in professional services, consulting, or similar industries preferred.
Technical Expertise
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SaaS migrations, networking, and cloud environments.
- Strong skills in data migration, systems consolidation, and application rationalization across diverse technology stacks.
- Experience with cybersecurity assessments and remediation in cross-border contexts.
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, HRIS, and document management systems commonly used in global firms.
- Vendor and contract management experience across multiple geographies and jurisdictions.
Leadership & Program Skills
- Skilled at managing simultaneous integrations across multiple time zones and regions.
- Strong program management and change management capabilities.
- Excellent communicator — able to explain technology to non-technical stakeholders and influence global executives.
- Builder mindset — able to create repeatable, scalable frameworks that support rapid growth.
Personal Attributes
- Proactive and adaptable — thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous, cross-cultural environments.
- Strong cultural intelligence and diplomacy skills to manage sensitive integration scenarios.
- Entrepreneurial and resourceful — able to deliver results under pressure with limited resources.
- High integrity, with strong commitment to data security and compliance in all jurisdictions.
