KBR is seeking an Admin Security Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, CA.
The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the US Space Force’s Space Systems Center (SSC). We support the Space Force’s acquisition of state of the art satellite communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation’s warfighters. Key Responsibilities:
- Review clearance/access data in Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
- Maintain a visitor control program, process incoming and outgoing visit certifications
- Onboard and out-process team members to include badge creation and keying, and badge destruction
- Oversee badge (and badge equipment) issues
- Submit and/or process Visitor Access Requests (VARs)
- Coordinate with Government organization units to facilitate and track onboarding, required training, reverification, and out-processing of Government team members
- Provide visitor information support assist in contacting visitor POC, and providing passes
- Update personnel and visitor data IAW program policies and procedures, running inquiries and providing quality control
- Oversee the facilitation/logistics in preparation of classified and unclassified meetings

Qualifications:
Required:
- Active DoD Secret Security clearance required for this position
- 2+ years of experience in admin security
- Ability to work well under pressure, possess good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, and be able to enforce policies in a professional and personable manner
- Proficient in the use of standard computer applications and tools
- Communicates clearly to others, and actively listens and responds constructively to other team members’ ideas
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

- Work individually and as part of a team in a diverse, rapidly changing environment
- Seeks feedback and learns from mistakes
- Demonstrates attention to detail and time management
Desired:
- Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM Rule
- Intermediate competency level with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Ability to solve problems of varying levels of complexity
- Capability to prepare reports and briefings, and be a proficient briefer capable of training large numbers of personnel
- Shows initiative by learning new skills and tasks in the enterprise services specialty
Basic Compensation: $78,000 - $98,000 in California
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
