The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our team in San Antonio, Texas.
You will have the unique opportunity to work on the next generation Presidential Aircraft (VC-25B) and support Boeing Mobility, Surveillance, & Bomber portfolio products. In joining this program, you will be part of an outstanding team of technical designers & engineers making history as we shape this one-of-a-kind next generation Aircraft.
The ideal candidate will utilize manufacturing operations knowledge and business acumen to partner with cross functional teams from operations, engineering, quality, supplier management, materials management, and program management to achieve organizational business goals and objectives. The Industrial Engineers assist in the stabilization of the production environment, implement lean methodologies, assess test readiness requirements, as well as improve quality through root cause analysis. BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced or Senior Industrial Engineers.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Applies industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirements
Develop capacity plans, accident prevention measures, sequencing of operations and work flows
Evaluates new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations
Designs, maintains, and optimizes the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel
Conducts work flow design and analysis
Develops models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leaders and customers
Researches, designs, develop, improve, and implement processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality, for large scale systems integration and asset utilization
Develops and implements plans and programs for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods
Creates product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices
Prepares operations plans, includes work statement analysis, budgeting and forecasts, capacity and constraint analysis and production change, to ensure technical goals and objectives are met
Supports execution planning by using project management, planning and scheduling and shop load practices
Provides production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility and recovery planning support
Ensure compliance with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
3+ years supporting manufacturing or test operations
Experienced in problem solving and with improvement projects
Experience with manufacturing engineering planning systems such as MESci and/or GOLD
Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications
Ability to walk, stand, and enter into aircraft via steps or ladders
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 4: 7 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working with LEAN manufacturing with knowledge of LEAN principals
Experience using Aurora scheduling software
An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range Experienced: $86,700 - $117,300
Summary pay range Senior: $102,850 - $139,150
