Job Overview
A world-wide company is seeking a motivated skilled Engineering & CAD operator with strong SolidWorks and AutoCad proficiency to join our dynamic team. This role blends technical design with customer and sales support, requiring the ability to create accurate CAD drawings, assist with cost analysis, and provide design solutions The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work collaboratively across engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintin 20D/3D CAD models and drawings in SolidWorks and AutoCad.
Collaborate with customers and sales staff to create designs that meet performance, budget, and project needs.
Provide design input, cost considerations, and technical guidance during quoting and project planning.
Prepare part/assembly models, layouts, and documentation packages for production and customer use.
Ensure drawings meet company standards, industry codes, and revision control requirements.
Act as a technical liaison between engineering, sales, and customers.
Participate in project meetings to provide updates on design progress.

Qualifications

Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCad software (required) .
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting/Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2-3 years of engineering or CAD drafting experience, preferably in manufacturing or product design.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and documentation standards.
Ability to interpret customer requirements and provide cost-effective solutions.
Strong communication and project management skills.
