Position Summary
ABM Industries is seeking an entry-level General Construction Coordinator I to support construction coordination activities at the Samsung Taylor Semiconductor Plant. This role is ideal for individuals beginning their career in construction management and offers hands-on experience in site coordination, documentation, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating general construction activities under supervision.
- Support site logistics, safety compliance, and access control procedures.
- Help maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and daily reports.
- Participate in field walks and assist with punch list tracking.
- Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely task completion.
- Attend project meetings and take notes for distribution.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior coordinators.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in construction or project coordination.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Bluebeam or Procore is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
