What does a successful Inspection Specialist Associate do?
As a Fiserv Inspection Associate, you will join the team at our Shoreview location. We will train you to complete inspection tasks in an efficient and timely manner to ensure required production specifications and quality.
What you will do:
- Perform in-process and final visual, dimensional, and technical inspections
- Evaluate reasons for defects; mark and sort rework and prepare non-conformance reports
- Use PC to perform data entry and process work-related transactions
- Utilize and/or operate material moving equipment, carts, etc. and use inspection tools, including hand tools and precision devices
- Respond to equipment troubleshooting to resolve machine and job-related problems
- Work with associates in team effort to further company goals concerning productivity, safety, quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives
What you will need to have:
- Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation)
- Ability to stand 95% of your shift and lift between 30 to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel and bend often
What would be great to have:
- A high school diploma, equivalent work, or a combination of work, education and military experience
- Experience in a fast paced, high volume production environment and understanding of production concepts
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Attention to Detail
Important info about this role:
- You will work an assigned schedule of 1st shift Thur-Fri 6:30a-2:30p Sat-Sun 5a-5p
- Eligible to earn shift differential pay for working 2nd or 3rd shifts
- Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays
