Description:You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer for the MFC team. Our team is responsible for delivering cutting‑edge mission solutions within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving supplier‑focused quality excellence across the program.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Partner with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers to resolve quality issues.
- Lead product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop strategies and systems that elevate internal and supplier performance.
- Assess quality systems, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective improvements.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:- STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher
- Must be able to identify and document quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective action.
- Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems.
- Understanding engineering drawings requirements mechanical.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office
applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Effective communication skills (both written
and verbal)
- Ability to travel
Desired Skills:-Experience with control and disposition of
non-conforming Material (Material Review
Board)
-Thorough understanding of Quality
principles in Aerospace industry
-Experience working with Government
customers
-A strong understanding of Geometric
Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
