Product Specialist Chrysler/Ram:
We are looking for a driven Product Specialist to manage and source parts for two automotive brands. This individual will play a key role in supporting vehicle builds, refurbishments, and event preparations. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of vehicles, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can take ownership of projects from start to finish.
This role requires a motivated self-starter who is equally comfortable working in the office and in the shop, collaborating with technicians, managers, and suppliers to keep projects moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Parts Management & Sourcing
- Source, order, and track parts needed for vehicle builds, reveal projects, and refurbishments.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and delivery timelines.
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement.
- Research and locate hard-to-find or specialty parts as needed.
- Coordinate logistics for shipping and receiving parts.
Project & Vehicle Support
- Support vehicle refurbishment and event preparation efforts.
- Work closely with technicians and managers to identify needed parts.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing builds and help troubleshoot any part-related issues or delays.
Organization & Communication
- Keep detailed documentation of part numbers, costs, and usage across brands.
- Communicate proactively with teams about order status, backorders, and potential alternatives.
- Help maintain a clean and organized parts area and tracking system.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of automotive parts and components, or ability to learn quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly motivated, self-directed.
- Comfortable working in both office and shop environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software; willingness to learn company systems.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in an automotive, dealership, or parts coordination role.
- Experience in managing supplier relationships and tracking orders.
- Familiarity with vehicle refurbishment, production, or event-based automotive projects.
