Role Definition
As the REPS (Retail Electric Power Solutions) Senior Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the product management of Retail, Rental and FGW Global Products. You will lead a global team and be responsible for current product cost and quality, and support the sales team to grow the business through Design to Order and Product Change Introductions. You will also support the implementation of New Product Introductions into our global facilities.
Responsibilities
- A Leader of Leaders - Managing engineering staff and activities with an emphasis on organizational goals achievement, professional development and continuous improvement.
- Monitoring and continuously improving product and process performance, quality and cost-effectiveness for all engineering activities and deliverables.
- Enable sales growth be owning and executing the Design to Order and Product Change Introduction processes through your respective teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in Current Product Quality through the PC&DM (Product Change and Data Management) and Regional Engineering Teams.
- Collaborate with Procurement teams to drive reductions in Product Cost through the Material Cost Reduction workstream .
- Support NPI Introductions into our facilities through the Regional Engineering teams.

Experience:
Minimum progressive experience of 15 years post graduation
- Prior leadership experience leading Engineering Teams.
- Managing Global Teams.
- Exposure in Managing Senior Stakeholders (GM/ VP/ Product Managers.)
- Exposure to Caterpillar cross-functional systems, process & business.
- Experiences of Project Management (NPI/Six Sigma)
Degree Requirement
Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering – Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Production.
