What does a successful Software Development Engineering - Advisor II do?

What you will do:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
- 6+ years of experience in software development.
- 3+ years of experience in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
- 3+ years of experience in SQL databases.
- 3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.

Important information about this role:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
