Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Propulsion System Design, Analysis and Certification Engineer (Associate or Experienced) based in Everett, WA.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate (Level 2) and Experienced (Level 3) Propulsion System Design, Analysis and Certification Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Defines requirements for propulsion systems, auxiliary power systems and vehicle fuel and tank systems.
Defines, coordinates and controls the functional and physical interfaces between the propulsion system and the vehicle.
Develops specifications and architectural and configuration concepts for associated vehicle systems to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Configures or designs propulsion sub-systems and components to meet all vehicle design and performance criteria.
Uses various testing, analysis, modeling and simulation tools to estimate or calculate system performance.
Defines and performs certification tests for propulsion sub-systems and components.
Supports fielded systems to assure continued reliability.
Develops concepts for future propulsion systems to meet anticipated requirements.
Works under general direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
1+ years’ experience with airplane systems design
Experience with Propulsion Systems and Engine design
Adaptable to a dynamic organization and product
Experience with large modification projects is desirable
Previous aerospace or aviation industry experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in propulsion systems architecture or design
Familiarity with Boeing or FAA safety processes
Familiarity with System Safety Assessment documentation

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range (Level 2) : $81,600 - $110,400
Summary Pay Range (Level 3) : $100,300 - $135,700
