The Role:
We are seeking a forward-thinking, driven Talent Acquisition Manager to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition (TA) team. In this leadership role, reporting to the Director, Non-Tech Recruiting, you will guide a high-performing recruiting team, drive strategic initiatives, and support both current and future global implementations of recruiting technologies. As a key leader within GM’s People Organization, you will shape and execute talent strategies spanning a variety of functions ensuring we attract and retain top-tier talent to power our future.
Responsibilities:
- Results Orientation : Lead and develop a team of engaged recruiting professionals who strategically deliver on business hiring needs with speed and quality.
- Strategic Orientation : Proactively partner with business and HR leadership to understand future plans, recruiting implications of these plans, and develop effective strategies to attract, assess, and hire in a differentiated way.
- People Leadership: Drive results and accountability for team and individual performance goals with a clear focus on metrics and data and invest in continuous development around the skills and competencies of your team.
- Collaboration & Customer Focus : Build connectivity between and across TA, People org, and business to deliver a positive experience for internal and external stakeholders.
- Change Leadership: Lead with data, analytics, and actionable insights to drive operational excellence and systems capable of scaling.
- Market Knowledge: Be informed and curious about industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in talent acquisition to enhance the recruitment experience.
Talent Acquisition Manager Qualifications:
- 5 years in managing a team of tenured recruiters and sourcers
- 7 years of HR/Recruiting experience
- Demonstrated success in utilizing data and metrics to drive decision making
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and TA technologies
- Experience building inclusive teams, managing performance, and managing expectations through ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to deliver against a target and manage to performance
- Exceptional proficiency in situational and data judgment, results orientation, operational excellence, and stakeholder management
- Exceptional consulting, collaborating, conflict management, and coaching skills
- Minimal travel may be required
Compensation:
The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws.
The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate.
- The salary range for this role is $159,000 - $234,300. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
