Job Summary:
Ocala Health is a seeking an experienced cardiac physician assistant to join an established cardiothoracic surgery practice.Qualified Candidates:
- Prior cardiac experience required
- Proficient in vein harvesting (EVH and open) required
- Join two cardiothoracic surgeons and 2 Advanced Practice Providers
- 80% of time spent in hospital / 20% in clinic
- Hospital work focused on inpatient rounding, consults, discharges, some ICU & surgery
- First assist in procedures
- Share call with Advanced Practice Providers
- Must be NCCPA board certified
- Practice specializes in the latest minimally invasive cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgical techniques (mitral valve repair, thoracic aortic aneurysm repair, TAVR)
