Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Flightline Operations Manager (Level L) to support the Everett Delivery Center in Everett, Washington on 3rd shift.
This Senior Manager will be responsible for the People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Innovation performance while delivering product to our internal Boeing Programs. In this role, there will be regular interaction with the cross-functional production support team, operations, executive leadership and regulatory agencies. This position requires strong leadership and people skills, the ability to solve problems, proactively identify issues and develop and communicate action plans.
Position Responsibilities:
Ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and post flight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery. Interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in an Aerospace, Fabrication or Manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of flight line operations experience
3+ years of experience working with airline customers
3+ years of experience with any of the following: quality assurance, troubleshooting capabilities, functional test knowledge, release, ticket experience, manufacturing, and/or structures
3+ years of proficiency using CMES or Velocity

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $144,900 - $177,100
