Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Boeing Production System Leader (Level M) to lead our Boeing Production Systems throughout Boeing’s extended Fabrication value stream in Auburn WA.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Boeing Production System (BPS), and the ability to drive strategic initiatives that align with Boeing’s values and behaviors.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Boeing Production System (BPS) throughout the extended value stream of Boeing Fabrication
Leads employees and managers that perform advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects to resolve production concerns.
Develops and implements integrated plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives aligned with One BPS standards.
Develops, maintains and deploys leader standard work including cost, safety, quality, standard measures/progress and standard work improvement teams across the programs
Oversees the development of management systems and metrics that support BPS implementation
Provides coaching/training resources to the business teams in support of BPS
Accountable to the program to implement, utilize and maintain BPS Standards
Liaison with BCA to ensure Fabrication has robust training plans and resources to support the knowledge, skills and abilities of the current workforce and future requirements.
Maintains and deploys standard quality improvement plans across the program
Ensures foreign object debris (FOD) standards are implemented and sustained across the program
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
8+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
3+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
3+ years of experience in a role that involves strategic planning and risk identification
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience0+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
3+ years’ experience in a senior leadership role
3+ years of project management experience
3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; and developing conclusions
Experience in staffing planning and workforce management integration is highly desirable
Proven experience in a leadership role focused on workforce development, training, or human resources, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams

Summary pay range: $173,000 – $212,300
