Job Description:
Caterpillar has an exciting Human Resources Director opportunity for our Global Rental and Used Equipment Division. Part of our Construction Industries Segment, the CAT rental and used equipment division supports the CAT dealer network to deliver customer rental solutions and profitably grow dealer rental revenue, customers, and coverage. This team delivers world-class rental and used equipment to enable customer success across the globe.
Reporting to the SVP of Global Rental and Used Equipment, this HR leader will direct the development and implementation of global HR strategies aligned with business objectives, providing guidance on HR policies and practices, fostering a culture of employee engagement and development.
Furthermore, this HR Director will serve as a strategic business while driving people strategies that support the division’s mission to deliver long-term, profitable growth. This leader is pivotal in shaping a high-performance culture and aligning HR initiatives with the division’s objectives.
As the rental and used equipment division continues to grow, this leader will be responsible for building a strong talent management strategy to support expansion into growth markets. This includes integrating other parts of the organization into this group and onboarding new teams while driving alignment with goals and talent strategy.
What you will do:
• Act as a trusted coach providing guidance to senior leaders on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
• Align HR policies and programs for their division which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
• Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with senior management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
• Lead a team of HR leaders to collaborate effectively with other Centers of Excellence and serve as thought leaders to the business and HR.
• Lead, support and, influence the design and change management approach of large-scale talent-focused change efforts impacting highly matrixed lines of business.
Degree Requirement:
Degree or equivalent experience desired.

Additional Details:
• Location: Dallas, TX (HQ’s). Secondary location Peoria, IL.
• This role is based in the office, 5 days a week.
• Domestic relocation is offered for this role.

• This position is eligible for stock or other equity grants pursuant to Caterpillar’s long-term incentive plan.
Summary Pay Range:
$185,400.00 - $278,160.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
