What does a successful Production Control Advisor do at Fiserv?
As a Production Control Advisor , you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of production control within the organization. This includes ensuring efficient and effective production processes, maintaining high standards of quality, and optimizing resource utilization. You will work closely with various departments to coordinate production activities and ensure timely delivery of products.
You will lead the production control team to achieve operational excellence as well as develop and implement production control strategies, policies, and procedures. This team is responsible for monitoring continuous interactions with the leading financial software services for the US financial industry.
This role sits in our Financial Institutions Group, specifically in our Core Banking business.
What you will do:
- Monitor and analyze production performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless production processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage and optimize file transmission systems to ensure secure and efficient data transfer.
- Utilize Appworx for scheduling and automation of production tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance to senior management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the production control team.
What you will need to have:
- 10+ years of experience in production control/operations environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Experience in financial services/payments domain.
