Job Description Summary
Component Test Enabling Hardware (CTEH) is a team of Engineers and Project Managers whose mission is to provide services for the design and development of hardware necessary to enable engine component and module level testing. Projects are linked to continuous improvement of existing products/components as well as the development and technical maturity of new products not yet entered into service. CTEH Project Managers in this role will work in collaboration with CTEH Engineers to oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Define and document project objectives, requirements, and assumptions necessary to plan and execute projects focused on the integration of the test article to the test cell.
Manage project deliverables so they complete to forecasted plan and meet the customer’s needs.
Provide procurement support – procurement strategy, identification of suppliers, coordination of hardware delivery, and storage of hardware/equipment.
Oversee installation and execution of assigned projects through continual engagement with engineering, operations, internal trades, and contractors.
Identify and manage project risks throughout project lifecycle.
Facilitate a regular rhythm of clear project communications with leadership and stakeholders.
Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management and engineering.
Required Qualifications
BS/MS degree, preferably in Engineering from an accredited university
Minimum 6 years of Project Management experience
